They develop into medium size (average 5 cm diam.), funnel-shaped fruitbodies with elongated stems. Their colour varies, with increasing light intensity and temperature, from light-beige to greyish blue. The shelf life of the mushrooms is inversely proportional to the cultivation temperature. This pleurotus ostreatus strain grows particularly well in tropical to subtropical conditions, if the minimum night time temperature. Picking: these fruiting bodies can be picked as large pale mushrooms or as numerous, small fruiting bodies. When picked small, the blocks have a lower total yield but the fruiting bodies have a longer shelf life.prerequisite of 22°C is respected to induce primordia formation.
